Camano Island is located about 55 north of Seattle.  Camano Island Professional Firefighters Union Local 4033 was founded in 2000 by the 6 orginal   The Union was founded by the orginal 6 paid firefighters first employeed by CIFR

Camano Island is located about 55 miles north of Seattle.  We are located on an island that is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Just over the bridge is the City of Stanwood in Snohomish County. We cover 43 square miles with 52 miles of shoreline.
